On Monday the Auditor General releases his annual report into 14 McGuinty Government agencies and programs. Given the explosive results of his last report, the people of Ontario are waiting with baited breath.
The previous Auditor General’s Report in to the McGuinty Liberal billion dollar eHealth scandal was actively obstructed by McGuinty Government officials. Despite this stonewalling, the Auditor General’s Report contained enough shocking revelations that it contributed to the resignation of two cabinet ministers as well as the Deputy Minister of Health.
The Ontario PC Caucus is curious about what tricks the Liberals will choose this time in order to cover-up their dirty secrets. Selective leaks of confidential material? Active obstruction? The scapegoating of public servants? When it comes to hiding billions of dollars of scandals and waste from public scrutiny, this government is capable of anything.
